Building the Blog

Well this is the traditional first post; just want to express that the purpose of this Blog is to promote what we know and will be learning about the family.  The family is meant to be taken in the broadest sense.  If we are successful we will promote what we know now and give a better launch for all those family members who arrive at the point in their own lives when they realize they do have an interest in their ancestors.

So, this is mostly about the future and sharing; no reason we can't enjoy this stuff along the way too!
